Our Six Change Management Steps for Happiness at Work

Step 1: Individual Assessment

The IPPQ online, individual assessment which will take 20 minutes to complete. Each individual receives a confidential and personalised report with the individual’s scores.

Step 2: Team Assessment

Individual IPPQ assessments are collated into a team report. This team report can be used to compare divisions against each other, which is invaluable for leaders looking to drive organisational change and leadership development.

Step 3: Identify Priority Needs

Based on the assessment results and a group discussion and feedback session, the priority needs of the team/organisation are identified.

Step 4: Team Interventions

Once the needs are identified the intervention begins with six monthly live intervention workshops. Implementation guidelines received in each session provide tools for application in the work setting between sessions.

Step 5: Leadership Support

Throughout the process, incremental management meetings are held to ensure a top-down approach. We value sustainability, and because of this we ensure that we stay in contact with our clients to support sustainable change.

Step 6: Assessment and Check-In

After the six-month intervention period a second assessment phase takes place where changes are monitored and areas of further intervention are recorded.

Expectations and Timeframe

Due to the nature of the Happiness at Work process, there is a 6-12 month intervention period.

This allows adequate time for:

  • The action learning cycle to be completed
  • To provide for accurate progress reporting, working past the “honeymoon phase”.

The Happiness @ Work program is an evidence-based change management process. It is therefore mandatory to complete the individual assessment before commencement of the program.
